Legal Cashier – Based Nr Liverpool Street - £28,000 + Benefits Well known City law firm based near Liverpool Street are currently looking to recruit a Legal Cashier.
This roles requires an experienced Cashier with at least 3 years experience within a City law firm. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, processing of Chaps/Bacs and cheque payments and posting to the client and office ledgers, transfers of time, disbursements and expenses between matters, journals on the client account and the nominal ledger, write-offs of time, disbursements and expenses, manual interest calculations on client account balances and crediting interest to client account, dealing with client, bank and staff queries, client account and office account bank reconciliations, opening and closing fund deposit accounts, maintaining petty cash, closing matter files, processing of bills and credit notes, dealing with client and internal billing queries, processing anticipated disbursements and managing the process of identifying disbursements due for payment and paying them within the Solicitor’s Accountants Rules, preparation of reconciliations and statistical information for clients and editing timesheets.
The salary for this role is £28,000 plus fabulous benefits which include 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, health screening, childcare vouchers, life assurance, pension scheme and season ticket loan.

Payroll Manager St Paul's, London Competitive Salary This top tier law firm based close to St Paul’s is currently seeking a Payroll Manager to develop and manager a small team of 3.
You will have accountability for both the delivery and production of a payroll service for approximately 1500 staff and partners in the UK, across four monthly payrolls including a number of inbound and outbound expatriate staff.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you hold a relevant payroll qualification along with effective report writing and presentation skills. You will have experience of managing a small team and also some expatriate payroll experience.
