The purpose of the role is to provide a professional legal service, exercising the highest standards of customer excellenece and provide prompt, accurate and courteous attention to all the companies customer enquiries. You will need to maintain a sound knowledge and thorough understanding of will and probate issues and the companies business in any form of communication with external contacts, as well as writing wills and maintaining effection communication with the department.

The company are seeking a professional will writer or returned solicitor. Due to Law Society rules they are unable to take on a practising solicitor.

Ideal for an overseas qualified lawyer with a background in will writing It is essential that the successful candidate has a thorough understanding of will and probate law and excellent communication skills.

We currently have a vacancy for a lawyer to work within one of the local councils - the role is paying £21.14 per hour (equiv £40K) not including overtime - starting asap - ongoing 3 months - experience of trading standards is essential for this qualified role – Enfield location


The role is supporting Trading Standards and Environmental Health Services in the delivery of a high profile, effective service to the Borough.


You will be required to participate in the improvement of the Council's policy framework in co-operation with Directions, Group Management Teams and Council Management Teams.


The role will be undertaking complex legal work within a specialism of local government law including trade standards, food safety, licensing, health and safety, public health, criminal litigation with Enterprise Act.


Experience of trading standards is essential for this qualified role.
