Legal PA – Employment Law - c£35,000
Our client is an award-winning, growing mid-sized law firm with a fantastic atmosphere and team feel. They are looking for a new legal PA to join their dynamic employment team, initially on a 6 month FTC but this is due to upcoming internal changes and restructuring rather than being a maternity cover or suchlike, so there is every possibility that this will get extended or even go permanent.
The work is a fascinating mixture of contentious and non-contentious employment on behalf of both private individuals and companies, and they are looking for someone who is able to juggle and adapt to a busy, reactive role.
Ideal candidates will have experience in employment law but they will look at those with a mixture of commercial legal secretarial experience, preferably with some exposure to litigation so can be left to deal with Court bundles and typing up of litigation forms and documentation with minimal supervision.
Although there is, obviously, typing in the role this is much more a legal PA role than a traditional legal secretarial, so it’s important you’re able to juggle a busy and varied workload, are familiar with looking after your boss’ billing, travel, diary etc.
What they are looking for is at least 2 years’ experience as a legal secretary, ideally in employment and/or litigation, excellent skills and the desire to be a real asset to a busy team.
The role is available immediately so they are ideally looking for people available quickly, but they will wait a month for the right person.
