We have just been instructed on a brand new vacancy with our client, a highly prestigious US law firm with stunning offices in the heart of the City.
They are seeking to recruit two IT Service Desk Analysts on a permanent basis; these are newly created positions to support the expanding department and in order to be considered, candidates are required to possess circa 5 years’ IT support experience. The firms’ Global IT Service Desk provides a premium level of services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all Attorneys and support/administrative personnel.
Therefore, the department operates on a shift pattern and the hours for the two new roles are as follows:
- 6am-2pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)
- 6am-2pm (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
Typical duties will include but are not limited to: responding to service desk calls (either solving upon first contact or escalating appropriately), tracking issues in a timely manner, contacting users after resolution to ensure quality control, participating in training to provide new technologies to users and handling tasks/projects to support the overall operations of the service desk function.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills to work for one of the worlds’ leading legal practices. Candidates must have prior experience, ideally gained from within a law firm environment.
