Sheffield law firm anticipates further legal staff recruitment
Specialist HR and employment law firm Bhayani Law has expanded into new premises in Sheffield, after the firm secured a six-figure funding package from HSBC – and says it expects to increase its legal staff recruitment in the future.
Bhayani Law was established in 2014 and offers legal advice on employment law to both business and employees throughout Yorkshire. The firm also offers HR outsourcing services to business, including user-friendly HR software for business.
The funding package from HSBC has enabled Bhayani Law to acquire a new Shoreham Street location, near Sheffield train station.
Following the deal, Bhayani Law said it expects to grow staff members, as well as increasing its turnover by 40% in the next year.
Managing director of Bhayani Law, Jay Bhayani, said:
“We’ve always believed that our expertise in employment and HR law has made us a truly unique company.
“The move to a new city centre premises – with transport links across the country – is fantastic for the future of Bhayani Law.
“It means more businesses will be able to benefit from our comprehensive services and helps to give us a wider national profile.”
Area director for West & South Yorkshire for HSBC, Jo Dickinson, added:
“Jay Bhayani has over 25 years of award-winning law experience, so we are pleased to support the growth and continued success of Bhayani Law.
“With an increased national trend in employment tribunal fees, the law firm is now in a prime position to make the most of an increased demand.”
Ms Bhayani’s team includes experienced HR lawyers and CIPD HR associates – and the firm claims to have “a refreshingly straightforward approach to HR & employment law”.
“After spending time getting to grips with the issues facing you or your business, the next question you’ll be asked is, ‘What outcome do you need to achieve?’
“Once you’re clear about the result you want, we’ll use all our experience and skill to help you apply the law in a practical and workable way, to resolve what are often complex and stressful situations.”
Among its services, the firm offers legal advice to business on migrant workers, discrimination in the workplace, business transfers and TUPE, redundancy and settlement agreements.
The Law Support Group covers all areas of recruitment – from support staff to fee-earner level recruitment – for both regional and international banking and law firms here in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
