Former paralegal qualifies as a solicitor at Chafes Hague Lambert
Northwest-based solicitors Chafes Hague Lambert have welcomed their latest qualified solicitor, who formerly had a paralegal job within the firm.
Almas Patankar qualified as a solicitor on 1 November, after working for Chafes Hague Lambert as a paralegal in the Investment Property Department, joining the firm in 2014.
Ms Patankar studied for the Graduate Diploma of Law and Legal Practice Course following a chemistry degree at the University of Nottingham. She worked as a paralegal in the Tax, Trusts and Estates (TTE) Department in October 2015, becoming a trainee solicitor in May 2017 and qualifying as a solicitor after completing her training contract in the TTE Department at Chafes Hague Lambert.
Managing Partner at Chafes Hague Lambert Solicitors, Robert Brindley, said:
“Almas is a great addition to our team – she has a friendly and professional manner and is well liked and respected by all of her clients.
“Her qualification is well deserved and I am confident she will have a long and successful legal career.”
Ms Patankar added:
“I chose to stay in the Tax, Trust and Estates team at Chafes Hague Lambert because it gives me the opportunity to help clients at an often difficult time in their lives – and involves a lot of client contact, which I really enjoy.
“Having worked for Chafes Hague Lambert for more than three years, I have always been made to feel part of a team that is both friendly and technically excellent.”
