Clifford Chance Open Days and Diversity Conference dates
International law firm Clifford Chance is hosting a series of open days at its offices in Canary Wharf, East London between September and November.
There will be 45 places available per open day and those awarded a place will receive help with travel expenses.
Attendees will have the chance to meet Clifford Chance trainees, lawyers and the firm’s partners, as well as the Clifford Chance Graduate Recruitment Team, who will go through hints and tips around how to make the very best application.
Candidates who apply to an Open Day but who are unsuccessful will not be able to make an application for another Open Day in the same academic year, but may still apply for any other position, scheme or programme with the firm.
The open days will take place on 27 September, 4 October, 16 October, 30 October, 8 November, 15 November and 4 December 2018 – and are aimed at any student of any discipline of any year, including graduates. Applications by online form are now open and close approximately two weeks before each open day.
Clifford Chance is also hosting its ACCEPT Diversity and Inclusion conference on 22 November, which aims to provide an opportunity for LGBT students interested in a career in law to hear from senior role models and understand why it is important to bring “your full and authentic self” to work each day.
The conference will enable attendees to understand what it is like to be LGBT in the City and how this can complement your career, as well as hearing from external speakers and external partners, including MyGWork and National Student Pride.
Those attending will be able to network with like-minded individuals – and will hear about the recruitment process at Clifford Chance
The day will conclude with an evening panel event with keynote speakers, celebrating Trans Awareness month.
Applications to attend the Clifford Chance LGBT ACCEPT Diversity and Inclusion conference are by online form at the Clifford Chance website and will close on 9 November.
The Law Support Group covers all areas of graduate recruitment, including legal support staff – for both regional and international banking and law firms here in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
