Neves expands Commercial and Employment teams

1111/2019

Neves Solicitors has announced that it is expanding its Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning Team, with the appointment of Private Client Solicitor, Jennifer Garner, to be based at the firm's Luton office.

The Bedfordshire- and Hertfordshire-based law firm said Jennifer had experience in all aspects of Private Client – including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, probate and estate administration and elderly client matters.

She graduated from University College Chester in 2007, with a degree in English with Criminology. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.

Jennifer is an Associate member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) – and a Full Accredited Member of the Solicitor for the Elderly.

Joint Managing Partner of Neves, Stewart Matthews, said:

“I am very pleased to be able to welcome Jennifer to Neves – both I and the whole management team are looking forward to working with Jennifer, to further strengthen and develop our already very experienced and dynamic team of Private Client lawyers across all three of our offices in Harpenden, Luton and Milton Keynes.”

Neves Solicitors has also added to their specialist Commercial and Employment teams, with the appointment of Kim Sayer, who joins as a Company Commercial Solicitor, working alongside the firm’s Joint Managing Partner and Head of Company Commercial Law, Stewart Matthews.

Neves has also welcomed Fiona Hewitt, who joins the firm as a Senior Associate and Head of Employment and Commercial Litigation, working with Joint Managing Partner and Head of Disputes, Peter Kelly.

Stewart Matthews added:

“I am very pleased to welcome Fiona Hewitt and Kim Sayer to Neves – Fiona brings with her a wealth of experience, acting for both individuals and businesses as both lawyer and trained mediator.

“She is an excellent addition and allows us to develop this already busy department.

“Kim joins from a nearby firm and therefore has excellent knowledge of the local area and many contacts in and around Milton Keynes.

“Kim’s addition to the team will allow us to maintain the highest client satisfaction levels, while servicing the increasing volume of company commercial work that Neves continues to receive.”
