We are currently recruiting on a truly unique and very exciting new role for a rapidly growing boutique law firm that would be perfect for a HR Advisor/Manager who loves the recruitment side of the role – or an experienced inhouse law firm recruiter who wants to broaden their role and transition into HR.
Our client is a fast growing law firm (currently 100 strong but planning on doubling in size withing the next 3 years) and it’s this growth that has driven the need to bring in a dedicated specialist to lead on the HR and Recruitment side.
At present the role would be around 2/3 recruitment driven (paralegals, solicitors and some business support hires) and 1/3 HR matters, but as the firm grow so will this function enabling the successful person in this role to grow their team with additional support on the HR and/Recruitment side.
Their head office is in Watford, very close to the train station, but they have a very flexible hybrid working policy – after the initial “getting to grips with the role” is done, this person could potentially only come to the office 1-2 days per week as needed.
Because Recruitment is such a big part of the role, the successful candidate will have solid experience in all aspects of recruitment (advising stakeholder, budgeting and planning, creating job specs, advertising, interviewing and onboarding) and have successfully recruited for lawyers and paralegals, particularly within family law, Court of Protection etc.
While their ideal candidate will be a HR Manager with extensive experience and skills on the legal recruitment side, they are happy to consider inhouse legal recruiters/talent acquisition who want to move into a role with HR elements.
