Paralegal job leads to solicitor’s qualification and directorship at Tinsdills
Stoke-based law firm Tinsdills says it expects 2018 to be another milestone in the company’s development, as it continues to expand and recruit new legal staff.
Already in 2018, Tinsdills has appointed Paul Woolliscroft and Abdi Ebrahimi as directors, who have been with the firm for eight and ten years, respectively.
Paul Woolliscroft joined Tinsdills in February 2010 and specialises in Employers’, Occupiers’ and Public Liability Claims. In 2015, he went on become Head of the Occupiers’ and Public Liability team at Tinsdills.
The second staff member to be appointed a director of Tinsdills is Abdi Ebrahimi, who joined the firm in 2008 as a paralegal. He gained his Trainee Contract in 2010 and qualified in 2012.
The firm says Ebrahimi’s knowledge and workload have increased simultaneously, after he attained experience in Personal Injury, Business Services and Commercial Property.
“Both will bring fresh insights and opinions to an already forward thinking and expanding business,” says the firm.
The appointments to director level are also “perfectly timed”, as Tinsdills celebrates its eighth year of being recognised as an Investor in People, having held the accolade since 2000.
In 2017, the number of staff at the law firm reached nearly 100, with its client base exceeding 100,000 and financial targets also exceeded.
“Tinsdills prides itself on continuous achievements to retain the standard as one of the leading employers in its field in the local area – and encouraging both current and new employees to progress through the firm.
“Tinsdills Solicitors recognises talented employees who can demonstrate both knowledge and drive to succeed, with a priority of providing excellent customer service.”
Newly appointed director Abdi Ebrahimi said:
“I’m excited and looking forward to taking up my new role as a Director, having progressed from Paralegal to Director. I am proud to be part of a business which puts client care as its priority.”
Paul Woolliscroft added:
“I am delighted and extremely proud to have been made a Director at Tinsdills.
“In the eight years that I have been working here, I have seen Tinsdills go from strength to strength, with client care always at the centre of everything we do.
“As a Director, I will continue to ensure that this remains the case, so that our clients’ experience of using Tinsdills continues to improve, as reflected in the client feedback that we receive.”
