Leicester solicitors adds paralegal and plot sales specialists to property team
Leicester-based law firm BHW Solicitors has welcomed an experienced paralegal to its commercial property team.
Lynsey Cave studied at De Montfort University in Leicester and joins BHW from Shakespeare Martineau Solicitors, where she worked in the commercial property department and planning department.
BHW has also welcomed Lucy Ward and Claire Cook, who will launch the firm’s Plot Sales Legal Team. BHW are specialists in land acquisition, site set up, plot sales and new build conveyancing, as well as commercial property matters.
The appointments of Lucy Ward and Claire Cook coincide with the launch of BHW’s Developer Services department, headed by Commercial Property Partner, Ian Sanders, who said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Lucy and Claire to BHW – their specialism means we’re now able to offer the full spectrum of services to our developer clients.”
BHW Solicitors is currently celebrating fifteen years in business and has 70 staff across its commercial services and residential conveyancing divisions, including a specialist New Build Conveyancing department.
The firm says that the newly launched Residential Development Team is able to deal with all types of development and acquisition agreements – and can provide legal support and advice on every process necessary to turn acquired land into a development of saleable plots.
The firm offers legal advice to businesses of all types and sizes, from start-ups to household names. Its core practice areas are Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution and Employment.
BHW also specialises in several industry sectors and practice areas, including Aerospace, Agriculture, Contentious Probate, Crowd Funding and Secured Lending, Information Technology, Pension Scheme Property and Sport.
The firm also has a strong client base across the East Midlands, including Derby, Nottingham, Coventry, Northampton and Leicester.
“We have an enviable client following built on strong relationships, but all of our clients are equally important to us, large or small,” said BHW.
“Our approach is cooperative, straightforward and businesslike.”
