Yorkshire law firm continues recruitment drive with Associate and paralegal appointments
Yorkshire law firm Keebles has continued its recruitment drive by hiring two new associate solicitors and creating a new paralegal position.
In July, Keebles also added two new members to its commercial property team.
The latest appointments include Associate Louise Rudkin, who will be based at the firm’s Doncaster office. Ms Rudkin is experienced in estate planning and has previously worked for the Crown Prosecution Service and Sheffield City Council.
Associate Natalie Sheldon has joined the Keebles team in Sheffield and specialises in the administration of deceased estates and lasting powers of attorney.
Paralegal Catherine Connelly has also recently joined the law firm’s Leeds office.
All three will work with clients on estates, wills, trusts and elderly care.
Head of the private client department at Keebles, Michele Wightman, said:
“Louise, Natalie and Catherine bring a wealth of valuable experience – they join us at an important period in the development of our department, which is commissioned by clients across Yorkshire and beyond.”
Keebles has offices in Sheffield, Doncaster and Leeds – the firm has made 20 new appointments in 2018 across its commercial and private client departments.
In July, the firm welcomed the arrival of solicitor Jonathan Gott, who advises on the acquisition, disposal and lettings of commercial and high-value residential property; and solicitor Hollie Hemmens, who acts for property developers and investors with substantial property portfolios.
The two new appointments brought the Keebles’ commercial property team to 23. The team was further strengthened earlier this year with a trio of new appointments.
Keebles’ clients include Harworth Group, Coalfields Regeneration Trust, Lazarus Properties, St Pauls Developments and Crossbow Investments.
The commercial property department is led by Richard Smith – who advises regional and national clients on all aspects of real estate transactions. He said:
“We have developed a reputation as one of Yorkshire’s biggest and most highly regarded commercial property departments.
“With a strong pipeline of commissions and deals to deliver to wide-ranging clients, investment in recruiting and developing our team remains a key priority.”
The Law Support Group covers all areas of recruitment – from support staff to fee-earner level recruitment – for both regional and international banking and law firms here in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
