Claims firm announces training contract successes
Specialist claims management solicitors Winns has boosted its team after four trainee members of staff passed their LPC courses.
The firm said that Sarah Hepple, Lydia Sevenoaks, Joe Lythe and Amrita Grewal all passed “in fine style” – Amrita Grewal received a commendation, despite juggling work with study.
“Winns was really supportive – I was able to work part-time to complete the LPC and was given study leave for my exams. The highlight of the LPC was graduating; the toughest part was balancing the workload with work.”
Sarah Hepple studied part-time over two years and took the LPC alongside her Training Contract, which she said was challenging “but highly rewarding”.
“After many years of studying, it is a big achievement to have completed the LPC – and it has helped towards reaching my goal of qualifying as a Solicitor in September,” she added.
Her fellow Trainee, Lydia Sevenoaks, said she was delighted to finally complete this part of her training.
“The feeling on completion is brilliant, especially knowing that you no longer have to juggle studying and revising alongside work. I’m excited to start the next chapter.”
Joe Lythe added that one of his favourite parts of his training contract was civil advocacy.
“I felt this was relevant to what we do at Winns – and I have always enjoyed advocacy throughout university. I also enjoyed studying some drastically different areas of law, such as mental health and employment.”
Associate Director and Training Principal at Winn Solicitors, Jo Amos, said:
“I’d like to congratulate the four on their significant achievements – they have all put in a lot of hard work and effort and have been rewarded for that.”
