Batley expansion and new trainee for JWP Solicitors
Yorkshire-based law firm JWP Solicitors has opened a new office in Batley.
The new premises at Al Hikmah Centre in Batley mark JWP’s fourth site in Yorkshire, adding to the firm’s existing presence in Wakefield, Pontefract and Leeds.
The firm said that clients would be able to access all of JWP’s legal services from the new site, including Family and Children Law, Wills and Probate, Personal Injury and many other legal services.
“Just like at our other sites, we will offer a number of incentives to make accessing our services as easy as possible, including Free First Meetings, Evening and Weekend Appointments, and Flexible Payment Plans,” said a statement.
“Our brand-new site at the Al-Hikham Centre allows us to serve the communities of both Batley and Dewsbury, as the centre is located conveniently for both areas.”
JWP Partner John Wilkinson said:
“This new opening tops off a great year for us – we’ve taken on a number of new staff to help manage increasing demand for our services and now we’ve chosen Batley as the ideal location for our next office.
“The new site will be headed up by two of our experienced Solicitors – Joanne Whitehead and Damien Dobson, whose drive and ambition are sure to make this launch a huge success.”
Clients at the Batley and Dewsbury site will be able to call on the specialist knowledge of any of JWP’s 19 Solicitors, including a number of Urdu speakers.
JWP Solicitors also continues to grow its team and said:
“…building a focused team of highly capable individuals is key to our plans for the future.”
In October 2019, Phoebe Walsh joined JWP as a trainee Solicitor, after working with the firm for most months during her University studies in order to build up her practical experience.
A spokesman said that her first stint as a trainee Solicitor would be working in the family team in Wakefield, before moving on to gain experience in other specialisms.
