Loosemores grows its team with two appointments
Cardiff-based law firm Loosemores Solicitors has expanded its team with the appointment of a new Dispute Resolution Solicitor and a new Marketing Manager.
Vanessa Lovell qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and will bring her experience to Loosemores in a wide range of complex civil and commercial disputes involving both corporate clients and individuals.
New Marketing Manager Thomas Kelly has a range of marketing skills and prior work experience within Marketing and Events departments, said a spokesman for the firm.
Senior Partner Mark Loosemore added:
“We are delighted to welcome Vanessa and Tom, after both impressed us during the interview process. They will strengthen our team and we are really looking forward to working with them.”
The firm says that it values its team – and we want them to enjoy working in a progressive and ambitious law firm.
“We offer competitive packages, provide an excellent working environment, and always look to develop our people.
“We are always interested in talking to passionate and talented people who are keen to join our team.”
Earlier this year Loosemores retained its Top Tier ranking for Sport in the Legal 500 – and Mark Loosemore was recognised as a Leading Individual in Sport.
Loosemores Partner Karl Thomas was recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for Sport.
The Legal 500 said:
“Boutique Cardiff-based firm Loosemores Solicitors is very active in the sports field across a range of commercial contractual work, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
“’Approachable and commercial’ team head, Mark Loosemore, continues to grow the practice – and has handled work for a raft of new clients (across the spectrum of amateur and professional sports), as well as for core and long-established ones such as the Football Association of Wales (FAW).
“Partner Karl Thomas is also a key member of the team in relation to litigation and regulatory work in the sector.”
Loosemores Solicitors is the only firm in Wales in the Top Tier for both Sport and Media with a Leading Individual in each, after Media consultant Sara Griffiths retained her ranking as a Leading Individual for Media and Entertainment in Wales.
Senior Partner Mark Loosemore was also recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for Media and Entertainment.
The Law Support Group covers all areas of recruitment – from support staff to fee-earner level recruitment – for both regional and international banking and law firms here in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
