FBC Manby Bowdler strengthens legal team after name change
Midlands law firm Gallaghers has announced it has now become FBC Manby Bowdler LLP, strengthening its residential property services in Telford and surrounding areas.
The firm employs more than 200 people at its offices in Shropshire, the Black Country and Redditch in northeast Worcestershire – and has taken on six new members of staff across its operation following the name change.
Managing partner Kim Carr said the appointments demonstrated the firm’s commitment to providing a stellar service for all its clients.

Sarah Bond joins as HR Director to further develop FBC Manby Bowdler’s reputation as one of the best workplaces in the region.

Legal Executive Hollie Styles joins the Family Law team in Wolverhampton to assist across a range of issues relating to children and family welfare. She completed her Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice with CILEX Law School in 2019.
Business Development Manager Dawn Tuck has more than 30 years’ experience in banking and finance and has worked with businesses of all sizes across the West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. She will be based in Wolverhampton – and has a wealth of experience in relationship management, business development and customer service and experience. She will help develop new business and promote the firm through events and engagements.
Commercial Property team Associate Solicitor David Philips has joined the Shrewsbury office of FBC Manby Bowdler, where he will specialise in freehold and leasehold commercial property transactions.
”His work involves dealing with the acquisition and disposal of commercial land and buildings, as well as commercial lease arrangements for both landlords and tenants, the property aspects of corporate transactions – and acting for clients and lenders in relation to secured lending and refinancing,” said the firm.
Emma Truslove joins FBC Manby Bowdler as a Partner in the Corporate Law team at Redditch, where she will use her wealth of experience in industry to offer practical advice on commercial and corporate matters, said the firm – with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts.
Also joining the Redditch office is Associate Solicitor Helen Hanson, who has more than 16 years’ experience working in Family Law. She will advise and help clients in all areas of Family Law – including, separation, divorce and child issues.
