
We are currently working on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Staff Attorney to join their London Employment team on a permanent basis.
The role focuses on non-transactional, advisory and support work. The team advise multinational corporate and financial services clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment and employee benefits matters, working closely with HR, Employee Relations and in house legal teams on strategic workforce planning, policy design, complex employee relations issues and senior exits. The team’s work encompasses employment litigation, executive compensation, and regulatory remuneration, as well as supporting cross border corporate transactions on employment and consultation matters.
Suitable candidates will be an England & Wales qualified lawyer, with a solid grounding in employment law; corporate support experience is desirable, but not essential.
In regard to duties, the Staff Attorney will predominantly assist with non-deal employment work, providing advisory support to partners and senior lawyers, as well as preparing knowhow, client updates and other materials. In addition, the role will offer exposure to Pro Bono and Business Development activities.
