A leading European intellectual property firm is seeking a newly qualified Trade Mark Attorney to join its established and growing trade marks team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious NQ attorney to work in a modern, less traditional IP practice that actively encourages autonomy, profile-building, and long-term career development. The firm acts for a diverse international client base and is known for its collaborative, transparent culture.
You will be involved in a broad range of high-quality trade mark and design work, including:
Managing and prosecuting UK and international trade mark and design portfolios
Filing applications and renewals at the UKIPO and WIPO, and instructing overseas associates
Monitoring and reporting internal and external deadlines
Conducting trade mark clearance searches and providing strategic advice
Drafting coexistence and settlement agreements
Assisting with non-contentious trade mark disputes in the UK and internationally
Supervising and coordinating with administrative support teams to ensure accurate record-keeping
Contributing to improvements in workflows and internal processes
The role offers significant client exposure and responsibility from an early stage.
Newly qualified or recently qualified Trade Mark Attorney
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing deadlines and competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Experience with trade mark and/or design portfolio management
